A column appeared recently in our Rolling Downs pages, under the name Luna, concerning the difficulties on the Faded Lands strip and the response of this community to them. It advanced a number of claims that this paper believes are conspiracies and does not endorse, and it has accordingly been withdrawn from our pages. We regret any distress its publication may have caused our readers.

Let me be clear that we hold Luna in the highest regard. Her service to the Downs through the flooding is a matter of record, and no one who watched her run that relief yard would question her good heart. However, to ease the anxiety of our readers we have blacklisted Luna from all future editorials at the Chronicle and thank her for her contribution to these pages.
