Emergency crews responded to a reported structure fire at the Greymane Market Hall in the Lower Trades District in Vaelthir early this morning. Evacuation orders have been issued for the entirety of the District with assembly points located at Vaelthir University and Nascium Playhouse.

The Office of Resource and Civil Management issued a brief statement confirming that forward progress had been halted and that no fatalities have been reported at this time. The cause of the fire has not been disclosed.

An ORCM spokesperson declined to confirm whether there would be an investigation into the cause, stating only that “the relevant authorities are conducting a thorough assessment.”

Foot and cart traffic is being re-routed through Thornveil Court and Residents are advised to avoid the area until the cordon is lifted. The Chronicle will update this report as details become available.
