The Carrowgate point has reopened and normal crossings have resumed. The prosecutor’s office has stated that Raz Dro’shaveen will be fined for his disruption of the transit point, but that the matter is not a criminal case. This concludes our live coverage.

Eleventh and a half hour

Officials have confirmed the cause of the accident. The apparition failure occurred when Dro’shaveen attempted to cross while juggling eleven live eels, eating a bowl of stew, and reading aloud from a book he described as “very engrossing.” Witnesses confirm he had been advised four times not to do this.

Officials have named the individual under investigation as Raz Dro’shaveen, a traveling merchant. No charges have been filed at this time.

Tenth and a quarter hour

The one reported injury has been confirmed. Officials say the injured person is being investigated as the individual responsible for the apparition failure.

A senior official has now arrived at the Carrowgate site and met briefly with crews behind the cordon. Following the meeting, the official told the Chronicle that the response is “proceeding as expected” and that “the meeting was productive and the public will be informed soon.”

An incident at the eastern crossing near Vaelthir University, Carrowgate Transit Point. Witnesses described a sound “like a crack followed by white flashes”. There is at least one reported injury. The Carrowgate point has been closed until further notice, and queued travelers were turned away. Officials on scene declined to comment. Crossings remain available at the Northbank, Westeros, and Southling points, though wait times are reported to exceed two hours.
