If you are reading this, you are probably the same kind of person I am: someone who cannot let a strange story sit unexplained, and who would rather keep an eye on the neighborhood than wait to read about it later. That is what VaelthirWatch is. Part neighborhood watch, part case board for people who love a good mystery and hate a loose end. We pay attention to what happens around Vaelthir, especially the things the official record waves off in a sentence or two.

The idea is simple. Notice things, write them down, and put them together. Odd happenings, details that do not add up, public records, timelines, sightings, the small civic stuff nobody else bothers to track. Bring what you have and the rest of us will help you check it. Half of solving anything is just refusing to look away.

A few ground rules so we stay useful and stay welcome here. Verified information only; if you cannot source it, flag it as speculation and let the rest of us weigh in. No harassment of anyone, named or otherwise, because we are a watch, not a mob. Tag your posts so they thread to the right place. And look out for each other and for yourselves. If something feels off or unsafe, bring it here before you go poking at it alone.

Been waiting for something like this. There is so much that happens in this city that just disappears into the official record and never comes back out.

The part about the official record waving things off in a sentence or two. I have been saying this for years and nobody wanted to hear it. Glad there is finally somewhere to put it.

This is exactly what the Commons needed. Something with actual structure and actual rules. The rest of it is just noise. This feels like it could become something real.

Subscribed immediately! I have a few things I have been sitting on for months with nowhere to put them.

The rules are good. Especially no harassment. A channel like this goes sideways fast if that is not enforced from day one. Glad it is in here. Will be watching how it holds up.

I do not usually post but I have been reading the Commons for two years and this is the first thing that made me want to. The idea that ordinary people can just pay attention and that it counts for something. I did not know how much I needed to read that today.

Speaking as someone who spends a lot of time in the university archives: there is more in the public record than most people realise, and most people never look. A channel that actually aggregates it and cross-references it could turn up things nobody expected. Genuinely excited for what this becomes.

Honestly did not think a neighborhood watch board on the Commons would get me this interested but here we are. The framing is right. This is not conspiracy territory, it is just paying attention. That distinction matters.

The Silence kept everything. Every detail, every day, preserved exactly as it was. If the answers are still here it is because they were never allowed to leave. This channel is going to find things. I can feel it.

ok I just found this channel and I am SO in. I have been keeping notes on weird aether fluctuations around the south quarter for like six months and had absolutely no idea what to do with them. Is that the kind of thing that goes here?? Please say yes
