On behalf of everyone here at the Hour, I want to thank Cassian Swiggity for the editorial he sent us this week. Truly. We asked for three days of his time and he gave us three whole pages more than that, unprompted, no charge. You cannot buy generosity like that. You can, apparently, provoke it.

We are especially grateful that he took the time to correct an interview that never happened, about a man he assures us we never met. A lesser star simply would not have written back, Cassian wrote back at length. How brave of him.

So thank you, Cassian. For the discipline of a hero, and for reminding all of us that the bravest thing a man can do is win an argument nobody else knew he was having. We wish him every success with the picture.
